What If Sunday Igboho Couldn’t Make It Out Alive From Prison? (See This)

Sunday Adeniyi Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, is a human right activist, Yoruba self determination activist, and philanthropist.

Igboho was arrested in Cotonou by the country’s gendarmes on the night of Monday July 19 after fleeing Nigeria to evade arrest by Nigeria’s secret police.

According to his lawyer, Sunday Igboho is currently battling with a strange illness in Benin prison.

His lawyer, Yomi Aliyu, made the disclosure in an interview with BBC Yoruba, saying Igboho was rushed to the hospital for treatment, and further added,

“Igboho was not diagnosed with this sickness before he was arrested in Cotonou. It was so critical that they had to rush him to the hospital.

“I can’t tell if he has been returned to the prison from the hospital but what I know is, he’s battling ill health and it seems his kidney and lungs are already being affected.

Even though I cannot tell which part of his body the sickness has really affected, I know it has to do with his internal organs” he said.

Then on October 19, controversial blogger and investigative Journalist, Dr. Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo, alleges that the Yoruba Nation agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, alias Sunday Igboho, has been poisoned in the Benin Republic prison where he is being held.

Kemi made her poisoning allegation in a post she released on Monday evening at 7.35pm, tweeting:

“#BREAKING Sunday lgboho has been poisoned in a Cotonou prison.

His kidney function is deteriorating and Yoruba Nation is silent.

“Where is the cash donated for him?

“Cotonou authorities need to be questioned on what he consumed.

“He had a healthy kidney before arrest.

“#Kemitalks.”

The question now is, what is Kemi is saying the truth?
